“RELAPSE” by SlyArtË feat. Ella Miss

Feed me, feed me give me more  Feed me, feed me until the morn

Don’t stop, Don’t stop  Don’t mind if I flip,

Don’t care I won’t sleep   I don’t care if tomorrow I feel sick

Don’t stop  Don’t stop  Don’t stop  Don’t stop

Feel it, falling   Feel it, falling

I’m feeling like falling  I’m feeling like falling

Falling, no feeling  Falling, not working

Falling, no feeling  Falling, not working

I’m feeling like falling  I’m feeling it’s working

I’m feeling like falling  I’m feeling it’s working.

It’s all wore,  ruptured, until the morn

Don’t stop, I need warm  Until it ends

Feed me, feed me give me more  Feed me, feed me until the morn

Feel it, falling  Feel it, falling

I’m feeling like falling

I’m feeling it’s working

Thank you for your interest in “Relapse.”  Here is a little background about the artists,  collaboration and the track.

SlyArtË

I began producing music in 2015. I used to be part of an ensemble called PublicArt with my university fellas, based in Cassino (Latium, Italy) and the tracks created eventually were published in my first release "Post Millennium Calm", due to the end of our group. Relapse was created in the spring of  2019, and first released on Soundcloud in June 2019. The version on Soundcloud has the sample vocals of Laura Webb, and there are synth guitars in the refrain. After the work on "I Don't Know" I decided to ask Ella to help me with "Relapse" too, in the fall of 2019. I asked her to provide a new vocal line using the older one as a guide, and I created new lyrics, partly patterned over the older one. In December 2019 I also asked an American guitarist, Talia, to provide a new guitar line in order to replace the original one made with a fl vst. The mixing was completed with the help of the mixing engineer, Landon Arkens, during January and February 2020. This experience taught me a lot, and I had the privilege of having two of my tracks engineered professionally, and this is something huge, and I will forever be thankful to Ella and Landon for the great dedication to this project and for the trust they put in me.  Read SlyArtË's blog...  https://slyarte.blogspot.com/?m=1

You might remember SlyArtË and I first collaborated on his track, "I Don't Know."   Afterwards,  he invited me to create a new vocal line for “Relapse.”   I wasn’t sure I would be able to pull it off due to the very personal subject matter of his struggle with addiction.  This was another opportunity to grow and learn and by this time we had established a trusting relationship with each other allowing me to take risks.   The music became a wonderful way to help SlyArtË express a deeply personal experience that will be very touching to others.   Hope you enjoy the result.

Ella Miss

While I’ve been a musician my entire life, ever since I pleaded with my parents to purchase a piano in the second grade, it was only within the past two years that I’ve begun to produce and release music as the artist, Ella Miss.  The opportunity to learn production and see myself as an artist was by way of mentorship from Soundfly.com. Never would have I imagined that I would be collaborating with an artist across the world in Italy, Andrea Sollai, aka, SlyArtË. He first approached me through Instagram in October 2019 in order to collaborate for the track “I Don’t Know."  He didn't have an actual plan, he just wanted to mix his ideas with mine.  Later, he thought that having two vocal lines on it would be a good idea, and he asked me to find a rapper to express the topic of the track, but obviously leaving him a lot of freedom. The track was successfully completed and released on April 17th, 2020.
