On June. 29th, 2022, Alexander Nox, an artist and producer from Italy, sent the final master of the song, "Ride the Waves," which I wrote this summer. It sounded so beautiful! I can't say enough about Alexander. He is a phenomenal guitarist, bassist and producer, all of which he shared on this song. I am so incredibly grateful for his skill, talent and hardwork.
Also, recently, I have had the privilege to take piano lessons with grammy nominated, producer, Davion Bottz at Bottz World Studios. He has taught me several funk classics which led to the inspiration and creation of this fun summer vibe! It will be available everywhere on July. 29th, 2022. I hope you receive as much joy listening to it as I did creating it.
Always surround yourself with amazing people and remember to "Ride the Waves."
In love,
Ella
Lyrics
Ride the Waves - Lisa Reshkus (aka Ella Miss) 6-2-22
It’s fun to ride the waves
See where life takes me
When we float you’ll see
Together we’ll be care free
Will you do me a favor
Leave your thoughts of the past
Don’t look back, don’t look back, don’t look back, don’t look back
And tomorrow
Be here now
Make it last, make it last
It’s fun to ride the waves
See where life takes me
When we float you’ll see
Together we’ll be care free
Have you ever
Been where you wished you’d never been
Why am I here, why am I here, why am I here
But while there
Lost an enemy
Found a friend
The water is warm
Sun in the sky
Wind in our hair
Let’s fly

Today we celebrate Father's Day. It will be the first time I play the song, "William," that I wrote in memory of my Dad in 2021. He passed away in December of 2020. At the end of his life, he was battling Alzheimer's disease.
He was a civil engineer in Southeastern Wisconsin and created many interesting civil projects throughout this era. On Sundays, he would take us on drives to see what he made. He was especially proud of the parking lot at Babe Mann park in Elkhorn, which is uniquely round in shape. He really didn't not care for straight lines and square turns. This mark of his style is also seen in one of his other projects, Geneva National.
In his memory, there is a bench dedicated to him located in Elkhorn on his favorite walking path, very near to the Babe Mann park. Engraved on the bench are the words, "Your love continues to guide our way."
Here are the lyrics and chords for "William." Enjoy! I hope it brings positive memories of your father, or a father figure, to you as well.
